Sunday Services

September 5 - "Living with Intention"                                UUCP Member Bob Gerold

What does it take to be conscious and live with intention in the world, particularly in the mundane areas of life, like finances? Come hear Bob talk about making small changes that can dramatically affect your future. Bob’s topic is connected to the new church

social justice theme for the year: Voluntary Simplicity. Reminder: Bring items for Manna Food Bank and Swap It Exchange.

September  12 - "Belonging "                        Rev. Julie Kain

The annual Ingathering will be a multigenerational service with a water and earth communion. Everyone is invited to share a highlight from summer and is encouraged to bring a stone, shell or container of water from summer travels, near and far.

Potluck Luncheon will immediately follow the service, see this month newsletter more details.

September 19 - "Seeking a Simpler Life"    Rev. Julie Kain

In our hectic lifestyles and a difficult economy, we're often too busy to ask ourselves the questions that can help us simplify our routines. Identifying our priorities can actually give us more time to do the things that matter most to us. This service will include a Leadership Appreciation ceremony. Children's Chapel will meet in the conference room before the first day of WAY Cool Sunday School classes, see page 4 . REGroups will begin meeting on this Sunday after the service, see pages 6-7 for more information.

September 26 - " The Practice of Forgiveness"                                   Rev. Julie Kain

With insights drawn from the Jewish holy day of Yom Kippur, we'll look again at the powerfully transforming practice of forgiveness in our lives.  This service will include a Time for All Ages before WAY Cool Sunday School.
