If you’re searching for a religious home that is guided by a quest for truth and meaning, and not by a set creed or dogma, come join us at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Pensacola. Unitarian Universalism has a rich history and a living faith. Our roots are in Christianity and Judaism, and we draw inspiration from many sources including the wisdom of the world’s faith traditions, nature, science, and contemporary thought.
We are a faith of deeds, not creeds, affirming the principles of caring and open-minded community. We are strongly committed to social justice. We believe people of different beliefs and backgrounds can come together in one beloved community through the values we share. We believe that families come in many forms, and all are welcome in our church.
Our Sunday services are held each week at 10:00 a.m., along with infant care and a Religious Education program for children and youth. After the service, we offer a time for refreshments and fellowship. At 11:15 we begin a program of religious exploration options in small groups which we call REGroups, available most Sundays except for when we have potluck luncheons and during the summer."
As a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association, we affirm the association's Principles and Purposes.
Congregational leadership is provided by a Governing Board, the Minister,
and Shared Ministry Teams.
